It was indeed a rollercoaster ride of emotions in the most popular, long-running reality program on local television.
Exactly a week after the launch of the latest season of Pinoy Big Brother, tears and emotions flooded inside the PBB house as the teen housemates had to bid farewell to one of their fellas during the simultaneous nomination and eviction night last Sunday, November 18.
Among three nominees who garnered the most number of votes from their housemates, Lie Reposposa was saved by her supporters after garnering 61% of the total public votes and was succeeded by Art Guma with 20.37%. Reaping the least percentage of votes, specifically 18.63%, was Josh Worsley which made him the first-ever evictee of the season.
He was welcomed back to the outside world by his Tita Lourdgene Howes, who stood as his guardian that night after his mother failed to board a plane going to Manila due to a closed airport runway.
The Little Prince of Davao’s heartbreaking exit gave joy to one of the Star Dreamers as it paved the way for her to realize her dream of becoming a housemate. Among the Top 4 hopefuls, the public picked the “Apo of the Eye” Criza Ta-a, who got 35.92% of the total votes, to be the first one to crossover from the Camp Star Hunt to the PBB house. With only 1.36% difference, her runner-up Rhys Eugenio received 34.56%, and was succeeded by Missy Quinio and Achilles Samain with 19.22% and 10.3%, respectively.
To replace her and take the number of Camp Star Hunt dwellers back to eight, the Filipino-Spanish “Pilyo Gwapito of Bohol” Kurt Gerona was introduced.
How will Criza fare living with her new set of housemates? Will it be easy for Kurt to get along with his fellow Star Dreamers? Let’s find out by not missing an episode of PBB Otso, weeknights after Halik on Primetime Bida and weekends at 7:30 pm.
