PBB Otso Daily Update: Tori named as latest evictee, JC thrilled to be an official housemate

Tears once again poured down inside the Pinoy Big Brother house and the Camp Star Hunt as the housemates and Star Dreamers had to bid farewell to their fellows during the third eviction night last Sunday, February 17.

Hours before the dreaded eviction, Kuya tasked Pogi Spiritual Brothers Fumiya Sankai and Yamyam Gucong to create a video blog featuring last week’s nominees Mark Obera, Tori Garcia, and Wakim Regalado and help them promote their individual advocacies.

For Tori, it’s education for children, which was inspired by her encounter with an unfortunate child during a community service she got involved in who turned out to be a teacher at the present.

Many of us were probably amazed and touched when Mark related his efforts in helping the indigenous people in his home province Compostela Valley to redeem their ancestral domain title, which he did for more than a year. He went on sharing that he and his dad were the ones behind the construction of the first-ever school in that certain town.

Meanwhile, Wakim wanted to further spread mental health awareness, since illnesses and problems in this aspect have grown rampant nowadays. Besides, he admitted as well being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (or ADHD) as a kid and with clinical anxiety and depression as a teenager, that’s why he yearns to help other people overcome these ailments.

This task, according to Fumiya and Yamyam, has helped them not to only know them even more, but to completely understand them inside and out.

The 26.02% of votes garnered by Tori weren’t enough for her to be saved, thus, naming her as the latest evictee of the PBB Otso Adult Edition. Meanwhile, her co-nominees Wakim and Mark received 38.25% and 35.73%, respectively.

Still in tears, she went to the confession room to say goodbye to Big Brother as they looked back to the memories she formed with the housemates within her two-week stay inside the house. He also reminded her that she will always shine through her kindness.

As she went back to the outside world, the “Bombshell Sweetie of Singapore” still wasn’t able to hold back her emotions, especially when she was welcomed by her Mommy Shirlee and her fans. This was also quite evident when she learned that her former fellow Star Dreamer JC Gamez, to whom she used to be tightly bonded as well, will be the one to replace her spot inside the house.

Speaking of JC, he was the one picked by Kuya to crossover to the PBB house because of the admirable qualities he displayed while inside the camp – being a team player, amiable, and dependable in every job given to them.

Camp Star Hunt: Patrick, tuluyan nang nagpaalam sa camp

Apart from the Mucho Raketero of Italy, the Star Dreamers also had to bid farewell to another fellow – the Patrick Bantecil – who had to be dismissed from the camp after being a part of a losing group for three consecutive weeks. Before his exit, Dance-Spirational Son of Cebu was sent off by his comrades by uttering their heartwarming messages for him and serenading him with an apparently original composition.

Wrapping up last night’s episode was host Toni Gonzaga shocking announcement that there’s going to be double eviction next Sunday, February 24.
