What’s a celebration of dreams and victory without the dazzling smiles and tears of joy?
Behind the scenes, the Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10 Biga10 Big Night was enveloped in superb excitement as all housemates from three kumunities – celebrities, adults, and teens – assembled in a mix of yellow, red, and blue colors to welcome the season’s Big 5 and sole Big Winner.
The exterior of Bahay Ni Kuya was a glistening treat for spectators waiting for the big reveal to start while the hosts, special guest performers, and the whole team gear up for the show.
We see the hosts Bianca Gonzales, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, and Melai Cantiveros chat with the ABS-CBN executives and entertain the small crowd during commercial gaps. The performers including BGYO and BINI, plus special guests including Maymay Entrata, whom we all dearly missed, can be seen enjoying the night.
As the show started, everyone gave their undivided attention to the exhilarating performances and nail-biting announcements until the BIG 5 met the outside world one by one.
First to say hello to his friends and loved ones and hard-earned cash prize was Celebrity Kumunity’s Brenda Mage, the Fun-Along Comedian of Cagayan de Oro, declared as 5th Big Placer. “Tagumpay ang plano,” Brenda talked to the camera in his usual comic stance. He said he’s going to share his cash prize to everyone who helped make his win possible, then, quipped, “Hindi ko alam kung paano hahati-hatiin kasi 100,000 lang siya, so abunado pa ako.”
The “Traveling Wonder Lad ng Laguna” Rob Blackburn from the teens and “Bread Queen-er ng Palawan” Samantha Bernardo from the celebrities took the 4th and 3rd big spots, respectively.
The red crowd rejoiced when “Bubbly Boss Lady ng Leyte” Isabel Laohoo from the Adult kumunity was announced as 2nd Big Placer.
But the brightest recognition belonged to the celebrity kumunity as “Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao” Anji Salvacion was hailed as the season’s Big Winner, going home with the cash prize worth two million pesos.
As the cheers remained loud, Anji’s heartfelt appreciation and gratitude also won’t fizzle out. “I am so overwhelmed with mixed emotions. I am so happy and at the same time, I am so grateful to God for giving me this opportunity in life, for giving me this blessing, not just the title. It wasn’t ever to the title, it was to the belief, ‘yung pagtiwala ng mga tao sa akin,” said our newest Big Winner.
She added, “’Yung gagawin ko sa premyo, I’ll do good things with it and I can’t wait to make a help out of it,” before thanking her supporters aka her “sunshines,” friends, family, Pinoy Big Brother, and ABS-CBN.
