The fun and comforting personality of Pinoy Big Brother host Robi Domingo gives us the ultimate “kuya” vibes. He’s one to jive easily with any activity, and you know he can give the best advice when needed.
It might be because he’s an awesome kuya to his little bro, Robert Marlo or Maro for short.
While it would seem like they could immediately be the best of friends since they only had each other as siblings, Robi shared otherwise in a Magandang Buhay episode way back in 2017.
Because of their five-year gap, they had a lot of differences in terms of likes and dislikes. Robi even described them having opposite personalities. Though they still had a great relationship because Maro still remained respectful to his Kuya and Robi would do the same.
Fights and brawls were still common while they were growing up – much like with other siblings too. But over time, Robi realized that he had to be the bigger man because he’s the eldest, prompting him to avoid major disagreements and childish roughhousing with Maro.
Now, their bond is stronger than ever and they've become the best bros! It all started when Maro had to move out of their home because he had to stay in a farther place for work. During Maro’s absences, Robi realized how much he missed his best friend and appreciated his time together with Maro more after that.
Maro even penned a sweet message for his Kuya on his Instagram before, which read: “To my one and only brother who I really admire the most. Who got the looks because of me, and who is supportive. My gym buddy (not now), my kalokohan buddy, my takutan buddy, my brother. Happy National Siblings Day!”
