Daniel Matsunaga, the Brazilian-Japanese actor-model celebrity housemate from PBB All-In in 2014 bested all other contenders to become the season’s Big Winner. Joining him in the Top 4 were Jane Oineza, Maris Racal, and Vickie Rushton.
YouTuber Fumiya Sankai is from the current season, PBB Otso, and landed as one of the Adult Big 4 in Batch 2. Even before joining the reality show, he was already known for vlogging about Japanese and Filipino cultures.
Japanese voice actor Jeremy’s inspiration in joining PBB Season 2 in 2007 was his mother who he tried searching for in Japan, wanting to provide a good future for both of them. It was also very impressive of Jeremy to still speak in Filipino despite being raised in Japan since he was nine years old.
Born in Tokyo but raised in the Philippines, Jyo was working as a wrecker operator when he joined PBB 737 in 2015. Jyo admitted that he really felt sad when he had to leave his friends here in the Philippines when he needed to continue high school in Japan. He became excited though to be reunited with his Filipino friends when he came back here to join PBB.
One of the Batch 1 teen Big 4 of PBB Otso, Kaori has been admired by a lot of viewers, many of whom are her age. The Kawaii Daughter of Japan has been a responsible daughter as she chose to work part-time in order to help her mom with their finances.
PBB Otso Housemate Karina Bautista was dubbed as the "Miss Independent of Isabela" but she had always wished to be reunited with her Japanese father. Her longtime dream finally happened after nine years during her 17th birthday in 2019.
Actress Kazel Kinouchi is known to be part of the cast of Be Careful With My Heart in 2012 and Paraiso in the same year. She was part of PBB Teen Clash in 2010 where she first became famous.
Singing Surfer ng La Union Kiara Takashi is among the freshly proclaimed Big Four of PBB Otso’s Batch 4. She proved that she was deserving of that feat, as it was very evident that she did her best in all the tasks of Big Brother and that she showed us her true self inside the house.
PBB 737 Adult Big Winner Miho Nishida immediately joined It’s Showtime, as she became part of the ToMiho “realiserye” together with her co-housemate and ex-boyfriend Tommy Esguerra. Also, she became one of the noontime show’s all-female dance group GirlTrends.
Princess was a receptionist and a language instructor when she joined PBB. After PBB Double-Up in 2009, she became one of the 48 candidates who joined the Miss Earth pageant in 2012. Princess has also appeared in Mundo Man Ay Magunaw with Nikki Gil and Empress Schuck.
Dubbed as the “Pinoy Anime ng Japan” on PBB Unlimited in 2011, Fil-Japanese Seichang Usimi grew up with his grandmother in Japan. One of the most difficult things Seichang encountered in the PBB house was the language barrier. Although he would visit his mother in Davao, he was still not fluent in speaking Filipino during his stay inside the house.
Shoichi was a teen housemate in Batch 3 of the ongoing PBB Otso. Although he was raised in Japan, Soichi can still speak fluent Filipino as he revealed he would always watch Filipino movies and TV series. He decided to join PBB as he had high hopes of becoming a famous celebrity someday.
Yuri was a nursing student when she joined PBB Double Up in 2009. What’s unique about her is her ability in speaking five languages including English, Nihonggo, Spanish, Portuguese, and Filipino. Yuri, however, was the first housemate ever to be evicted through the Vote to Evict process.
