While many of us are already whining on how bored they’ve been since the Enhanced Community Quarantine was implemented throughout due to the alarming threats of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), staying at home for a long time is actually not new anymore to those who had joined Pinoy Big Brother in previous years.
And less than a year since the latest edition – PBB Otso – concluded, Big Brother recently called Big Winner Yamyam Gucong to check on him and to ask about how his life has been after his triumphant stint.
Yamyam gleefully imparted that he’s already able to fulfil his promise to his beloved family of helping them by establishing a bakeshop, which he named after his father and has the tagline “Tinapay ng Big Winner” since it was his cash prize from the reality show that made it possible.
He also gave Kuya a tour around his condominium, which was a part of his winnings as well, and enumerated to him the things that has been making him occupied – cleaning the house, working out, doing TikTok, browsing Facebook, and watching random videos on YouTube (typically just like many of us!).
Big Brother then told him about the “Big 4 Steps”, which is a list of things everyone should do in order to prevent contracting and spreading COVID-19. It includes avoiding physical contact, not touching the eyes, nose, nor mouth, washing hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds, and disinfecting the house and surroundings.
Their conversation ended with Yamyam encouraging everyone to follow the “Big 4 Steps” and to stay updated to the latest news about the disease, as well as reminding us not go out unless necessary and obeying the directives of the government. He also urges us to always pray and be safe.
Stay safe and healthy, Kapamilya!
