It was indeed another emotional Sunday evening for the Pinoy Big Brother Otso housemates as they had to o bid farewell to one of their fellows during the 7th nomination and eviction night held last March 17.
Following the defeat of the house challengers during the second wave of the Pinoy Big Battle, housemates Andre Brouilette and Shawntel Cruz were automatically nominated after being swapped with Star Dreamers Grace Abrugar and Kin Franco by their task leaders Camille Sandel and Kim Franco.
Joining them in the list of nominees were Hanie Jarrar, Thea Rizaldo, and Lou Yanong.
Due to his alleged close-mindedness and pessimism during their rehearsals, Hanie got 10 points in the nominations. Thea’s keen interest in winning the challenge was put in a bad light as her comrades viewed it as trying to overpower their leaders, thus bestowing her 8 points. Meanwhile, 5 points were given to Lou because of seemingly being not able to focus after Andre’s temporary departure.
Garnering the least percentage of public text votes, or 5.09%, Hanie was declared as the latest evictee. He indeed fell short against the 14.65% of Thea, 17.54% of Shawntel, 25.65% of Andre, and 37.07% of Lou.
The Athletic Cutie of Isabela was greeted by his Daddy Mohammad Subhi Jarrar, which made him more emotional as it was revealed by host Robi Domingo that the latter came all the way from Singapore just to attend in the event.
When asked by host Toni Gonzaga who among the remaining housemates he thinks truly deserves a slot on the Big 4, he confessed that it would be Yamyam Gucong, pointing out his positive outlook and everything he went through in life.
Just when the viewers thought that the only surprise the program has in store for everyone was the announcement that the second batch of PBB Otso Teen Edition is arriving soon, the hosts also disclosed that the challenges for the Big Jump to the Big 4 are about to kick-off this week by showing off the gold medallion in the shape of the show’s current logo that will be worn to the housemate who’s going to score the very first slot to the most-coveted roster.
On the other hand, host Alex Gonzaga let the house challengers know that they’re about to have a new task this coming week that will give them P80,000 and a chance to help in their chosen charity.
Are you excited as us to find out what special task the housemates and the Star Dreamers have to go through this week? Who among the housemates will nab the gold medallion first? Uncover the answers to these questions by tuning in to the next episodes of PBB Otso!
