Birthdays are indeed one of the most important and special occasions in a person’s life, and as long as it’s possible, we want to celebrate it with our loved ones, such as friends and family. However, since she’s inside the house, one of the adult housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Otso wasn’t able to spend her birthday that way this year – Lou Yanong.
Being away from them for almost nine weeks, the “Rampa Sister of Mandaluyong” wasn’t able to hide her longing to see them again, especially her dad, who she said she recently dreamt about embracing and fondly described to Kuya during their chat inside the confession room.
In order to relieve her longing to her family, Big Brother once again summoned her to the confession room to talk about her special day, which she revealed usually celebrating it through family dinner. Since she wouldn’t be able to do it this year, Kuya gave her a chance to still joyously celebrate her 22nd birthday via a simple “salubong” with her housemates, but in one condition – she has to accomplish the special task given to her.
For four hours, Lou has to act as a mannequin while the housemates were the ones in-charge of creating her birthday dress. Since she’s a mannequin, she is not allowed to talk nor to move.
Afterwards, it was her closest friend Andre Brouillette who was called up by Kuya to the confession room to notify him that her father will drop by the house to personally visit and greet her on her birthday. The “Amazing Alo-Hunk of Hawaii” will be the one to welcome him and bring him to her, thus he sought the advice of Lou’s another close buddy Yamyam Gucong on how to speak with a special someone’s dad.
While Andre and Yamyam are having a secret conversation inside the boys’ bedroom, Big Brother once again summoned Lou to give her the suit she needs to wear as a human mannequin. As soon as he went back inside the house, she gathered her comrades in the living room and their special finally began.
Unbeknownst to Lou, beloved Daddy Michael was already in the confession room and describing to Kuya how she is a child and imparting to him the words he wanted to tell her once bestowed the chance to see her up-close.
Big Brother then asked Daddy Michael about how he thinks of Andre, thus he gave him the opportunity to meet him and know him more by letting them talk in a room. There, Daddy Michael was able to quiz Andre regarding his intentions to his daughter, while the latter took this chance to apologize for the scandalous thing they did during their most recent party.
Upon seeing her dad in front of her, Lou wasn’t able to hold back her emotions and cried as her father tightly embraced her and gave her lots of kisses. He then read aloud the touching letter he penned especially for her that made the housemates cry as well and wore the silver necklace he gifted her around her neck. A few moments later, Kuya told Daddy Michael to leave then finished Lou’s task afterwards.
As they successfully accomplished their mission, the Rampa Sister of Mandaluyong’s birthday party is officially on! One-by-one, the housemates uttered their special message to her with the help of the words/phrases written on the wrappers of the candies they had picked. Of course, Big Brother also had a heartwarming and motivating message for the beautiful celebrator!
Happy birthday, Lou!
