In pursuit of unraveling the genuine personalities of the remaining Pinoy Big Brother Otso housemates, Kuya is apparently brewing something more intense and nerve-wracking for them as it was revealed during the 6th nomination and eviction night held last Sunday, March 11, that four of his ex-housemates are going to enter the Camp Star Hunt as the house challengers.
As a consequence to their loss against the the Star Dreamers in the Ultimate Pinoy Big Battle, the housemates faced another terrifying and heartbreaking event as four of their fellows got nominated, namely, Mary Grace Lagos, Mark Obera, Lou Yanong, and the automatically nominated Thea Rizaldo, in which two of the latest evictees on that same night would be picked.
Pointing out how she terribly affected their performance during their last challenge and how she almost surrendered during their military training, Mary Grace got the highest number of nominations of 9 points. She was succeeded by Mark with 8 points, whose alleged selfishness during their ultimate battle irked the housemates, and Lou with 4 points as some of her fellows noticed how her bond with her beau Andre Brouillette somehow took a toll on their tasks. Thea’s automatic nomination was due to their loss.
Meanwhile, in the Camp Star Hunt, host Alex Gonzaga greeted the Star Dreamers for winning the Pinoy Big Battle and declared the lucky one Big Brother has chosen to crossover to his house. Because of her determination and consistent positive outlook towards the tasks given to them, the Scent-Sational Stunner of Pampanga Camille Sandel has now achieved her dream.
Looking dainty yet sprightly in her floral dress, Camille vowed to stay being a “happy pill” just like what the Celebrity Star Player Aljur Abrenica had told her during his stay inside the camp and to always exude good vibes and optimism in the PBB house.
Aside from her, Alex revealed another surprise to the Star Dreamers as would have the chance to meet Kuya as well on the same night – and it was Kim Franco.
Although his twin brother Kin would not be joining him this time, the “Bro On-the-Go of Davao” expressed that he’s bringing with him their ambition to become housemates.
The first evictee of the evening was Mary Grace, who only got 1.4% of the total public votes. Lou got the highest with 53.43 %.
As she stepped out of the house, the Inday Taray of Davao Occidental was warmly welcomed by her sister-in-law Linda Estrella and was greeted by an intriguing question from the hosts which took her a long time to answer. When asked who among the housemates she thought is not being real inside the house, she blurted out Lou’s name that sparked wild reactions from the fans of Rampa Sister of Mandaluyong.
Mark was the next evictee, who only got 16.86% of the public votes versus the 28.32% received by Thea.
The Incredible Itay of Compostella Valley was welcomed by his half-sister and fellow ex-PBB Otso Adult housemate Apey Obera. When asked who he thought should be the batch winner, he straightforwardly retorted Shawntel Cruz, the Muse-ical Daughter of Baguio.
Capping off last night’s episode was the shocking announcement of the return of the four ex-housemates of Kuya – Abi Kassem, Tori Garcia, Wakim Regalado, and JC Gamez – not to reprise their stints on the competition, but as house challengers who will be joining the Star Dreamers at the Camp Star Hunt.
Apart from that, host Melai Cantiveros divulged that an OPM icon will drop by the house this week and gave a clue by quoting a few lyrics from one of this legend’s well-loved hits. Can we hear a Songbird singing?
How can Abi, Tori, Wakim, and JC help Kuya in unraveling the genuine personalities and testing the bond of the remaining housemates in the last three weeks of PBB Otso? Are they going to succeed in their mission? That’s for us to find out!
