Following their upsetting loss against the Star Dreamers during the first wave of the Ultimate Pinoy Big Battle, the housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Otso confronted another harrowing challenge as they bade goodbye to not only one, but two of their comrades during the 6th nomination and eviction night held last Sunday, March 10.
Despite their defeat, Kuya still gave the housemates a pampering reward for the efforts they exerted in the recently concluded special task the day after – a free makeover. The guys got their hair cut by their resident barber and fellow housemate Andre Brouillette, while the girls rocked their new coifs courtesy of the hairstylist invited by Kuya.
It’s been more than a week after the controversial on-air kiss of Andre and Lou Yanong, but Yamyam Gucong and Fumiya Sankai apparently haven’t moved on yet as they expressed how uncomfortable they are seeing how close they are with one another and imagined what the scenario would be if their ex-housemates were still inside the house.
They raised this concern in their separate conversations with Big Brother and their other companions, pointing this out as one of the reasons why they perhaps lost in the Pinoy Big Battle. Thus, the best buddies finally decided to talk to the sweethearts.
As they invited them for a talk, Fumiya and Yamyam had a difficulty in finding the right words to start their conversation, but everything went well as they opened up about the things they noticed about the two. They expressed how they miss the bond they used to have since they’re only the last four remaining from the original pool of adult housemates.
Lou and Andre, wholeheartedly accepted their criticisms and advices and offered a huge and warm group hug.
With the eviction of their fellows Mary Grace Lagos and Mark Obera, not to mention that they’re the eldest, the housemates couldn’t help but feel sad and at the same time be anxious on who among them shall cook their food since the two evictees were the ones who usually do the chore.
A few minutes after the exit of the “Incredible Itay of Compostella Valley” and the “Inday Taray of Davao Occidental”, Big Brother summoned the saved housemates Lou and Thea Rizaldo to the confession room to tell them to prepare an odd welcome ceremony for the newest Star Dreamer to crossover to the house.
The housemates came up with a military-inspired welcome ceremony with hilarious commands, which surprised Camille Sandel and made everyone chuckling.
While the housemates were having fun in teaching her the PBB Otso dance, another successful Star Dreamer, Kim Franco, interrupted them and shocked everyone with his entrance.
Their sudden appearance in the house sparked confusion and doubt among the housemates, but they eventually just shrugged it off.
As everyone assumed that they are already official housemates, Kuya broke the news to them that before cementing their status, Camille and Kim have to undergo a challenge, which is to lead the housemates in the new task he will give them.
If they win, they’ll be saved from the upcoming nominations and they’re going to be declared as official housemates. But if they lose, they’re stay inside the house will be put in danger.
Moreover, Kuya disclosed that the new task has something to do with showing off various yo-yo tricks.
If the information relayed by the task leaders already bewildered the housemates, another news shocked the housemates as Big Brother revealed that they’re going to fight against the Star Dreamers once more, who will be joined by their ex-housemates Abi Kassem, Tori Garcia, JC Gamez, and Wakim Regalado.
What are the preparations and trainings both teams have to undergo this week as they take on their new weekly task? How will the housemates be affected by the re-entry of their former comrades, which are now their opponents? Let’s find out by watching the next episodes of PBB Otso!
