Seth Fedelin gives Big Brother a house tour over the phone

Ako ngayon ‘yung nasa bahay mo,” Big Brother mused during his phone call with Seth Fedelin.

Amidst the community quarantine, the former Pinoy Big Brother Otso housemate received a surprise phone call from a familiar voice. “Kuya, how are you?” Seth greeted with much enthusiasm. “Pakita ko sa’yo ‘yung mansyon namin, Kuya. Mas maganda pa sa bahay mo,” the young actor offered.

After being evicted from the reality show, Seth continued to appear on our screens as Mikoy in the hit teleserye Kadenang Ginto. He also earned a role in the iWant original movies “Abandoned” alongside Beauty Gonzalez and in “Wild Little Love” with Andrea Brillantes. Then there is The Gold Squad YouTube channel which has two million subscribers, as of writing.

As a result, he was able to swap their old television with a flat screen TV. He finally replaced their old sala set that was made of bamboo with something more modern and comfortable. The linoleum floor became tiled. The bathroom was renovated. Soon, he plans to update their kitchen. And he finally bought a motorcycle. “Nakaka-proud. Proud ako sa lahat ng nakita ko,” Kuya said.

When asked about his friendship with Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Andrea, Seth revealed that they keep in touch through video calls. “LDR nga kaming Gold Squad. Lock down relationship,” he shared.

Aside from catching up with each other, the main reason Kuya called the Kapamilya star was to talk about the BIG 4 Steps that will help us be ready for any scenario during this enhanced community quarantine against COVID-19. At the top of the list is having enough soap, alcohol, sanitizer, and disinfectant. Vitamins and basic medicines are also important. In case of an emergency, it helps to know the contact information of the local barangay hall, police station, hospital, and other local authorities.

If possible, we should also regularly monitor one another’s health. Lucky for Seth’s family, his father is a nurse. Every morning, his father would check their temperature and other symptoms. Most importantly, however, we should all stay inside our homes.

As a teenager, Seth knows what it is like to want to go out and hang out with friends, “Ako, hindi rin kumpleto araw ko ‘pag hindi ako nakakalabas ng bahay.” But he understands how important it is to practice social distancing, “Magtiis muna tayo.” He only hopes that people would realize that these measures are not only for the self but for the sake of others as well.
