Kapamilya Chat Firsts Binsoy Namoca

Binsoy Namoca's journey in Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 may have ended, but the overwhelming support from the public definitely hasn’t. If anything, he's only gaining more and more followers, thanks to his genuine personality, relatable story, charming sense of humor, and talent.

Whether you’ve been a fan since day one or you’re just now discovering him, you’ll love getting to know the "Maabilidancing Dong ng South Cotabato" even more through his fun and candid answers in the Kapamilya Chat Firsts Challenge.

If you've been following the show, you’d know that Binsoy was one of the house’s resident chefs. When asked the first-ever recipe he mastered, he thought of the classic chicken adobo. Speaking of chicken, viewers still can’t get over the episode where Binsoy and current housemate JM Ibarra struggled to get chicken from the stock room because the House Challengers wouldn’t let them. When asked how he feels about that, Binsoy just laughs it off. He’d rather look on the bright side, saying at least their menu was healthier that week since they only had vegetables.

Binsoy is also admired for his big-heartedness toward his parents and siblings. When asked who the first person that inspired him was, he mentioned his mother, saying, "Doon magsisimula kung sino ka. Kung ano ang ugali ng pamilya mo, 'yun din ang magiging ugali mo."

He is proud of his humble beginnings and never hides the fact that he came from a struggling family. He had to work while studying to help support their needs, but he also knows how to reward himself for his hard work. He once bought himself a pair of basketball shoes, which was the most costly thing he’d ever purchased from his salary.

Binsoy has experienced heartbreak before. And the first time he cried because of love was back in high school. The first song on his playlist? That would be "Heaven Knows." Of course, we couldn’t miss the chance to ask for a little sample!

As a certified Kapamilya, the very first movie that really left an impact on him was “The Hows of Us,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

Let’s talk about Binsoy’s ‘firsts’ inside the PBB Gen 11 house! We learned that the first housemate he got closest to was Jarren Garcia, who’s now his best friend. Their bond grew a lot, despite their many differences, and the language barrier. Binsoy joked that his ‘London Boy’ best friend adjusts to his way of speaking and has eventually picked up some Bisaya words from him.

The first time Binsoy got emotional inside Bahay Ni Kuya was also during a conversation with Jarren. What happened was he cried due to a punishment, but Jarren comforted him by saying, “There’s no PBB without Binsoy,” which made him tear up even more.

As for the first housemate who inspired him, it was Dylan Yturralde, whom he admires for being independent even at a young age. "Napakarami niyang kayang gawin na hindi ko nagagawa," Binsoy said about Dylan, who is also a volleyball player.
