After an unforgettable 14 weeks inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, Kai Montinola steps back into the outside world, and meets with a wave of fans and newfound supporters. Reflecting on her experience, Kai shares that while she loved her time inside Bahay ni Kuya, she’s even more thrilled to return to reality, seeing the overwhelming support from people who appreciate her journey.
When asked about her first agenda or bucket list, the “PBB Gen 11” 4th Big Placer responded with a smile. The first thing that she's going to do? Check her phone! as she needs to know what’s happening out here. Topping her list of cravings is “boneless Korean fried chicken.” Kai admits that chicken was her motivation during some of the house challenges, as she strived to earn rewards for their weekly budget.
Each day was a cherished memory, she reflected. Her time in the PBB house brought about positive changes, and she is thankful that she remained true to herself. This growth, she explains, is rooted in discipline and structure. Without a phone and with rules to follow, she learned the value of focus and connecting with those around her.
Humbled and somewhat surprised by her growing fan base, Kai says, “To be honest I'm a fan of myself, but I just did not expect that to have other people appreciate, the way I appreciate myself.” She embraces the support but remains grounded: “so bring confidence wherever you go but not too high, stay grounded, stay low."
Career-wise, Kai is eager to delve deeper into the performing arts. Known for her passion and skill in dancing, she’s open to exploring more opportunities. Her biggest aspiration? To perform in musical theater, a genre close to her heart. Inspired by icons like Lea Salonga, she dreams of making her mark on both local and international stages.
