15 scenes from “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” that showcase Kano’s ‘good side’

Another life succumbed to the war of good versus evil, truth versus lies in the drama series Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.” Kano, impressively played by Markus Paterson, received his punishment at the hands of Jonaf (Ronnie Alonte), who was once soused in hate after the con artist also killed his father in an encounter.

Viewers might say that Kano only got served what he deserved for all his wicked deeds. But, as we gaze upon the life of the fallen, let not judgment be our guide, as there lies a story behind his transformation into evil. There were many instances when Kano showed that he can also do good things, which proves that he was only a victim consumed by other people’s schemes.

This Kapamilya Toplist video showcases this good side of him.

He wanted to leave the rogue life behind to finish his studies, inspired by Baby/Amy (Loisa Andalio)’s similar dream. In a light-hearted moment, Hilary (Elisse Joson) would poke fun at his big ambitions, especially since he couldn’t even solve simple mathematical equations.

He might be a dangerous soul fighting for survival outside of their home. But at the end of the day, he was a concerned ‘brother’ to his adoptive siblings Baby and Hilary, and an obedient son to his foster parents Badong (Epy Quizon) and Osang (Sunshine Dizon).

In times of missions, he’s not one to leave his siblings behind and put their lives on the line. He’d rather sacrifice his own.

As the only guy in the brood, Kano provided comic relief in the Abiog home. His overconfidence and dumb reactions were a perfect match to Hilary’s wit and Baby’s seriousness. There were many times when he gave his parents a mix of laughter and headache, too.

He collected quite precious memories with his family, barring the moral aspect of their chosen line of work. Yet, fate, cruel at times, crumbled his dreams and completely dragged him into wickedness. Had life taken a different turn, had he not been abducted by Badong and Osang’s syndicate, he must have been an even better person.
