15 hated scenes of Jacinda as the biggest kontrabida in “PIra-Pirasong Paraiso”

Clap, clap, clap! Don’t get near the domineering and intimidating Judge Jacinda (Snooky Serna), as her mere gazes can explode into threats. The character is an imposing addition to veteran actress Snooky Serna’s ‘kontrabida’ repertoire, who puts so much dignity and power, and sometimes amusing antics, in her portrayal. As a judge, Jacinda has tons of enemies, but most of them come from her own arrogance and lust for power. She is corrupt and does not let anything get in the way, even if it means resorting to crime.

Her biggest rival would have to be Diana (Charlie Dizon), who she thinks is stealing everything, from her ex-husband Julius (Art Acuna) to her position in La Madrid Land. When a crime ensues, expect Jacinda to blame Diana, such as when she insinuated her involvement in Julius’ still unsolved murder case.

She further asked her henchman to dig up Diana’s past, gather as much controversies and scandals that she could use to weaponize her nemesis. She also didn’t spare Baby (Loisa ANdalio), who was then pretending to be Diana’s long-lost sister, Amy.

But, as much as she’s infuriating, Jacinda is amusing in her verbal battles, such as when she tried to intimidate Angela (Alexa Ilacad), who was dauntless enough to reject her offer of friendship and said that threats don’t affect her anymore as she eats them for breakfast. The expert villain's reply was, “Enjoy the buffet.”

And, a buffet of chaos and suffering the Paraiso sisters got in Jacinda’s hands. She ousted Diana from La Madrid Land; and then locked horns with Angela, who was then revealed to be Beth. To her, dragging her enemies to hell means serious business. She targets them one by one, including Hilary (Elisse Joson), until she discovered her scheme.

Jacinda has become the puppeteer behind Hilary and Badong (Epy Quizon), who does all the dirty work for her. Seeing Hilary’s desperation, she had the latter wrapped around her little finger and plotted several ways to use Hilary to push Diana to rock bottom. There was a scene where she helped Hilary get legal documents keeping her DNA test results from Diana and Angela. From there, she managed to invalidate Diana and Julius’ marriage, which gave her the power to evict her from his house. And it didn’t stop there, as she also made a way to take back La Madrid Land from Diana, through Hilary and Badong’s help.

But the final nail in the coffin was joining forces with Carlota (Nikki Valdez) in falsely accusing Diana of killing the latter’s grandmother Amanda (Maricel Soriano), sending her foe behind bars.

Jacinda doesn’t give chances to anyone who wronged her, especially not Baby, who is bent on helping Diana and Angela turn the tables around. In the final scene in this montage, Jacinda and Badong caught Baby stalking them, leading to physical violence.
