Kyle acting Pamilya Sagrado

Those who are able to follow the journey of Kyle Echarri in the entertainment scene are certainly aware that he started out as a singer after joining a reality singing competition in 2015. But as his career continues to progress over the years, we also got to see his side as an actor through his teleserye stints.

From simply playing supporting roles in the early years of his career, he went on to snag lead roles in recent years, including the ongoing primetime series “Pamilya Sagrado,” wherein he astounds with his portrayal of the tenacious and gutsy Moises Malonzo. Thus, in this edition of Kapamilya Toplist, let’s look back on the 10 scenes through which Kyle was able to showcase his promising dramatic chops.

Most of his highly emotional scenes were with veteran actor Joel Torre and seasoned actress Shaina Magdayao since their characters, Estong and Grace, are the adoptive family of Moises. Avid viewers of the series would know that Estong used to be apathetic towards Moises in the early parts of the narrative, as he tends to berate and assault him. Moises would often receive nasty remarks from Estong and be the cause of the latter’s heated arguments with his daughter, which he witnessed one time.

All the pain that his adoptive father had inflicted on him growing up piled up, so Moises couldn’t help but have a heartbreaking emotional outburst as he conveyed his pent-up rage and frustrations against Estong ever since he was still a kid. This happened after the old man discovered that Moises still pushed through with joining the fraternity despite his objection.

They once again had a scorching dispute when Estong mocked Moises after getting expelled from school and losing his scholarship. Being ridiculed by his adoptive father for dreaming big, Moises wasn’t able to stop himself from getting emotional as he reasoned out that everything he’d been doing was for their family.

Even though Estong was hostile towards him, Moises still has nothing but love for him, as he tearfully prayed to God, whom he fondly calls “Bossing,” to help them find a way to pay for Estong’s medications and hospital bills when he got sick. Unbeknownst to Moises, that gesture was enough to melt the heart of the old man.

Aside from Joel and Shaina, Kyle also got to share dramatic scenes with the other cast, such as his confrontation scenes with Piolo Pascual, who compels us with his portrayal of Vice President Rafael Sagrado. In one instance, the young actor was able to deliver his lines well despite having to pretend that he was gasping for air and breathing through the respirator.

But his most dramatic scene to date could be that one when he harrowingly faced the members of the media at a press conference all by himself and owned up to the frustrated murder of President Eleazar Sagrado (John Arcilla), which was all orchestrated by the wicked Jaime Sagrado (Tirso Cruz III) with the help of his dependable right-hand Divine Torres (Aiko Melendez).

A lot of hearts were surely broken as we felt his agony while asking for forgiveness from his family and his Nanay Nadia (Rosanna Roces), the mother of the late hazing victim Roland Salvacion (JC Alcantara), on live TV, in spite of not really having a hand in both crimes. He just knew to himself that he failed them for giving in to the evil oppressors and not being able to stand up against them as they continue to make their lives a living hell.

Were you able to catch these remarkable acting momentsof Kyle? Watch out for more of it by not missing an episode of “Pamilya Sagrado” on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5 and A2Z.
