#7 Alamat is cited for doing "Ppop with a purpose", for incorporating references to colonialism, ancient Filipino legends, and featuring a diverse range of regional languages and aesthetic styles.
The ACES of Ppop BGYO were placed at #5 "for their youthful spirit" and for co-writing their tracks.
Ppop phenoms SB19 were ranked #2 and were pronounced as "ready for world domination" with their record-breaking feats.
The list was topped by fast-rising new Kpop group XG and also featured Vpop stalwarts UNI5, multinational band Now United, bilingual Latin sensations Bella Dose, new gen Jpop group BE:FIRST, jpop and kpop hybrid monsters JO1, and UK girl band FLO.
