Up-and-coming folk-soul-pop artist muninn serenades music listeners with “Sandali Lang,” her debut single with a soothing melody released under Tarsier Records.
The song is described as a call for a pause in the middle of chaos between two people, allowing a moment to reminisce, reflect, and breathe. This is conveyed via the introspective lyricism and the eleborate and gorgeous musical arrangement that starts with a soothing melody that swells up into a monumental denouement. The song was co-produced by singer-songwriters and producers Daniel Paringit, Stephen Tan and Rosner Mabuti.
“Sa naghihintay, sa bagay man o sa mga taong dumarating at umaalis, ang buhay ay tungkol sa pagtanggap sa mga patuloy na pagbabago. Sila, tayo, ikaw at ako, ay mga tao lang sa huli,” muninn said in an Instagram post.
Also a visual artist, muninn started her musical journey as a personal creative project. With her raw and soulful sound, she is now ready to showcase her artistry diving into personal vulnerabilities and life’s complexities in her storytelling through music.
Among her musical influences are Nai Palm, ruru, Ichiko Aoba, Patrick Watson, Paul Mccartney, Hiatus Kaiyote, Jiwoo, Matt Maltese, Astrud Gilberto, Sunset Rollercoaster, Khruangbin, Rhye, and more.
