He came into show business armed with a goal and his dimples.

We’ve all heard Jameson Blake’s story when he entered Kuya’s house for 2015’s Pinoy Big Brother 737. While he exceled both in academics and basketball, the Fililpino-American initially entered the industry as a commercial model.

Little did we know was that this path would turn out to be more than a source of income. As he steps foot outside Kuya’s house and into the real cutthroat world of showbiz, he would continue to pave a path that showcases his talents in a variety of lights.

That same year, his charming good looks and moves earned him a chance to be a member of It’s Showtime’s dance group Hashtags. As a kilig ambassador, Jameson was able to slowly build a following and eventually take a shot at acting.

In 2017, he was paired up with actress Loisa Andalio for Wansapanataym’s My Hair Lady where he played as her personal bodyguard for a week. Fans would easily remember this role because of the transformation he underwent with a fake nose and mole. Together, they gave us a lot of kilig on screen and on Instagram. But LoiSon couldn’t stick because Jameson had to set his eyes on another actress for his next project.

Say hello to the confident and arrogant Fourth in A Love To Last. Him and Julia Barretto had many supporters rooting for their love-hate relationship. He enjoyed teasing her which caused countless petty fights. Despite this, he never hesitated to give her harsh truths. So, who else would she ask to be her pretend boyfriend? Their love triangle with Ronnie Alonte had Kapamilyas torn, but of course we all know who the real winner is in Julia’s heart.

Moving on to 2018, we now find Jameson teamed up with Miles Ocampo for Home Sweetie Home. Offering their young romance on the sitcom, have we finally found a ship for Jameson? It’s not just in romance, however, where we can catch his acting shine.

For an episode of Ipaglaban Mo entitled “Hazing,” he was a hardworking and loving son who was convinced to join a fraternity. Unfortunately, it was this decision that led him to his early death. This was a timely narrative for the show due to the issues and then case surrounding fraternities and the initiation ceremony of hazing.

Jameson has also been part of two Maalaala Mo Kaya episodes. Back in 2016, he contributed to the story of boxer Nonito Donaire. Although he only played a supporting character then, he bagged a pivotal role in last June 16’s episode. “Ukelele” featured the life of Libertin “Tin” Amistoso, the composer of hit song “Titibo-Tibo.”
