Now that Nang Ngumiti ang Langit is reaching its conclusion, the stars of the captivating daytime series share with us their most unforgettable experiences in doing the show.
RK Bagatsing, who plays as Michael Villaluna, says that being a family with the rest of the cast and crew of their show off screen is the thing he will remember the most. Sharing the same view is Shaina Magdayao, who portrays the beautiful and kind-hearted nurse Grace Andrada. Shaina tells us that even though she just stayed for two months in the show, she felt like she has been part of it since its inception as she effortlessly built a very close relationship with her co-actors.
Child stars of the show say that their playtime during taping days are the moments they will never forget. Apart from that, Sophia Reola, who plays the lead role as Mikmik, reveals that she will always remember the time when esteemed actress Rita Avila paid them a visit, as well as those outings at the beach. Matet de Leon, who breathes life into the character Ruth Dimagmaliw, also finds these escapades unforgettable, including scenes at the Salvador mansion with Keempee de Leon, who portrays her husband Benjie.
Cristine Reyes, who takes on the role of the antagonist Katrina Salvador, stresses that being part of the show is a whole new experience for her. She gave a very different attack on her character that is very far from all her roles before, because Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit is her first teleserye as a villain.
Keempee, on the other hand, expressed how special the show is to his heart because aside from being on a show that is filled with love both on and off screen, it is also his comeback teleserye on ABS-CBN after several years.
Enzo Pineda, who plays James Villaluna, shares that his moments with the child stars are the most memorable. Being part of Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit gave him a chance to be a "kuya" to youngsters who he all sees as his little brothers and sisters, an experience that he really loved because he is the youngest in his brood.
Finally, Pilar Pilapil, who portrays Divina Salvador, said that the show is truly unforgettable for her because their relationship as co-actors and close friends off cam is so personal. Even though their journey is coming to an end, their camaraderie will always be in her heart.
