Kim Rodriguez leaves us amazed not just by her stunning beauty and acting talent, but also by her strikingly amusing personality. She’s currently one of our favorite funny girls out there! You’ll love her, too, when you watch this video of her taking on the “Truth or Lie” Challenge.

First of all, who wouldn’t love a girl with a big heart for pets? She first became a furmom when she got a shih tzu as a gift before she entered showbiz, and now the brood has grown into a total of three dogs and a cat. She was initially just a dog lover but became a cat lady, too, when her "Darna" co-star Mac Manicad advised her to adopt a cat to help her move on from a heartbraeak at the time, as cats are known to be "more malambing."

“Lie,” Kim giggled when given out the statement “I hate eating.” She can finish three cups of rice especially when she has dried fish or chicken feet for viand. For dessert, chocolate is probably a good idea. “Dati, nag-iiwas ako sa mga sweets pero, lately, nahilig ako sa matatamis.”

Therefore, it’s a fact that she’s good at cooking. “Nagsimula ‘yan n’ung pandemic. Naging chef ako nu’ng pandemic,” she laughed. “No’ng pandemic, siyempre, bawal lumabas. Wala kang magawa kundi mag-workout at magluto sa bahay.” She learned through watching cooking tutorials on YouTube and following her mom’s advice “na ‘pag alam mo ‘yung lasa, kaya mong lutuin ‘yan.”

While she loves food, she knows she isn’t capable of eating a whole box of pizza in one sitting. “Siguro makakakain lang ako ng mga dalawang pizza, o pag gutom makaka-tatlo ka. Pero kasi mabigat ang pizza.” She’s more of a ‘rice’ person.

Kim mentioned that she usually doesn’t take coffee to avoid palpitation and being hyperactive. However, she forces herself to drink coffee when doing intermittent fasting.

Apart from her skills in acting and cooking, she can also play an instrument. “Nag-aral ako mag-drum at nagpa-piano ako sa bahay,” said Kim, who is also a DJ.

She’s one sporty gal, too! She plays basketball with her brothers, “Minsan ‘yun na rin ang nagiging workout ko.”

Kim is a certified social media addict as well.

Asked if she loves to shop, she thought, “Sometimes true. Kasi minsan after ng show, parang nire-reward ko ‘yung sarili ko. Kung hindi ako magsha-shop, siguro magta-travel ako.” Who else can relate to her “deserve” mentality? “Kahit mawalan na ng pera, deserve pa rin,” she chuckled.

The next statement says, “I give tip to servers/waiters,” which she confirmed, “It’s true. Kasi minsan may pagkakataon na ang bait ni kuya o ate kaya deserve talaga nila. Minsan pa nga sinosobrahan ko pa talaga.” But she admitted – and we love her honesty – “May pagkakataon kasi na, parang, hindi ko alam kung may problema ba siya at kung bakit nakukuha niyang magtaray. So, minsan hindi ako nakakapag-tip.”

Kim, who is single at the moment, admits that she’s a martyr when it comes to love. “Ganyan tayong mga babae, lahat ibibigay. ‘Pag nagkamali, tatanggapin mo kasi bulag ka, eh.” She’s admittedly the jealous type as well, “May pagkakataon na kapag mahal na mahal mo ‘yung isang tao, hindi mo maiwasan na magselos kahit hindi naman dapat. Parang, ganu’n talaga. ‘Pag hindi ka nagseselos, parang hindi mo talaga siya mahal. Pero siyempre dapat may limit ‘yung pagseselos mo.”
