Former beauty queen Precious Lara Quigaman currently enjoys a blissful, fulfilled life as a successful actress and devoted wife and mother.
An Order of Lakandula awardee and crowned as Miss International 2005, Precious Lara Quigaman continues to thrive in the entertainment industry with noteworthy appearances in films and TV shows, while juggling her time as a dedicated wife and mother.
Lara tied the knot with Marco Alcaraz in 2011 in Vancouver, Canada in a civil ceremony, and subsequently married him again in 2012 here in the Philippines in a Christian wedding. In their second marriage here in the country, she was already halfway pregnant with their first child, Noah Alcaraz.
In an interview with Magandang Buhay last year, she declared: “Of all the titles, I like ‘mom’ the most.
On Lara’s Instagram account, it can be seen how deeply she loves Noah, and how profound their bond is. Lara never failed to share how she savors each moment in her motherhood journey raising her precious and handsome Noah from his infancy to school age. She even tells stories about him on her personal blog!
In the same interview, Lara was asked what she thinks is her greatest fulfillment in life as a mother. She answered: “Siguro para sa’kin ang greatest achievement ko bilang nanay hanggang sa paglaki ng anak ko is ‘yong na-impart ko sa kanya ‘yong salita at pagmamahal ng Diyos.”
Lara’s loving family continues to grow. She now has two kids with Marco, with her youngest Tobias Nolan born in September 2018.
Lara still has a busy career in her hands. She portrayed the role of Dilag in the 2018 fantasy series Bagani, the older sister of Ganda (Liza Soberano), and played Loida, the mother of Jacky (Yen Santos) in the controversial drama Halik that same year. She would then have a much-acclaimed performance as surprise antagonist Alice in her most recent teleserye The Killer Bride. Talk about being a super mom!
