Apart from being the consummate actor who has made waves in the industry for nearly 40 years as a showbiz luminary, Albert Martinez is above all a dedicated and devoted father and doting lolo.

Since his wife Liezl passed on five years ago, Albert never lost sight of the children they hold dear. He would remain close to his lovable children Alyanna, Alfonso, and Alissa.

Now all grown up and professionals, Alyanna and Alfonso are living independent lives, while Alissa remains with their father at their family home, taking care of the household just like her late mom. 

But despite this, Albert is very much involved in his children’s lives, even if he is busy with his hectic showbiz schedules. 

He is very much happy and fulfilled now that he is a grandfather to Alyanna’s child Adalynn Riley, who was born in 2018. He also spends a lot of bonding time with adventure-seeker Alfonso, who enjoys their frequent cook-offs at home. And of course, he cherishes the fact that his youngest Alissa still lives with him, and utterly reminds him of her mom Liezl.

Yes, Albert is still grieving over the loss of his wife of 30 years, but keeping and nurturing family ties is his top priority as a single parent. This is the continuing celebration of love and life together—a tradition that will hold forever.
