As the well-loved spiritual drama series May Bukas Pa is currently having a rerun on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida block more than a decade after it was first broadcast, many of us are probably wondering where some of its ensemble are or what they’re up to at present, such as model-turned-actor Victor Basa.
Victor played the role of Fr. John Delgado, a son of a wealthy haciendero and businessman who got estranged from his father after choosing to enter the religious life rather than heeding to the latter’s aspirations for him. They later on reconciled with the help of Santino (Zaijian Jaranilla).
With his unmistakable handsomeness, finely chiseled body, and promising talent in acting, singing, and dancing, many ladies (and even the girls-at-heart!) out there probably used to have a crush on the moreno hottie. He used to score supporting roles in a slew of Kapamilya narrative programs and became a member of ASAP Coverboys, which also comprised hunk model-actors Jake Cuenca, Rafael Rosell, John James Uy, Marvin Raymundo, Jon Avila, Zanjoe Marudo, and Will Devaughn.
For those who miss Victor or still head over heels for him, sorry to break this wonderful news but he’s now already off the market for good. He’s been happily married to his gorgeous wife Stephanie Dan for months now after dating for four years and tying the knot on November 10, 2019.
In an interview with METRO.style last year, she revealed that they used to be classmates in kindergarten but never had the chance to speak to each other for they had different circle of friends.
“We got in touch through Facebook about four years ago. I messaged him to like a photo. It was a general blast message to all my Facebook friends but he replied and invited me for coffee. That’s how it all began,” she related.
Aside from being an actor, blogger, and host, the 35-year-old actor also added another feather in his cap for he’s now also an entrepreneur. Together with his beloved spouse, they’ve been managing an online indoor plant shop called The Happy Plant Company, which used to be just a hobby for them. He is also a certified globe-trotter for he’s able to set his foot in 24 countries already!
