Kapamilya teleserye weddings

Since Pinoys couldn’t get enough of love stories that end in “I dos,” Kapamilya teleseryes had this tradition of bringing us the best wedding scenes, so perfectly executed they look like a real-life event. Check out this Kapamilya Time-list that features 15 teleserye weddings we loved through the years.

Be Careful with My Heart

The love story of Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Richard aka Sir Chief (Richard Yap) was a fairytale in itself but their wedding was even more dreamy – and grand. With blue (Maya’s favorite color) and yellow (symbolizes her favorite flower, the sunflower) as motifs, the romantic nuptials was documented in a same-day edit video and aired throughout the whole episode. Richard and Jodi had a prenup pictorial, counselling session, followed tradition like forbidding the groom to see his future wife pre-ceremony, and had a full-blown reception in a big events place attended by ABS-CBN Executives.

Walang Hanggan

Daniel (Coco Martin) and Katerina (Julia Montes)’s wedding speak of eternity – classic and elegant. The ceremony was held at the San Agustin Church in Intramuros, graced by the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra for the live orchestral music. And instead of the typical bridal car, the couple was seen riding a horse-drawn carriage. In the entourage are Coco and Julia’s co-stars Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Helen Gamboa, and Paulo Avelino.

Nathaniel

Paul (Gerald Anderson) and Martha (Isabelle Daza) look gorgeous together, more so when they tied the knot in a beautifully quaint set up adorned with red roses, crystals, and silver candelabras. And the backdrop during the reception was made of glass panels.

You’re My Home

CharDawn in an intimate wedding scene was nothing short of charming! In the story, Gabriel (Richard Gomez) and Marian (Dawn Zulueta) painted the beauty of second chances by marrying again after a myriad of ordeals split their relationship and family apart. The cute and creative use of handcuffs as props during the ceremony was therefore fitting to stress that they’re finally home in each other’s arms and are never leaving again.

Pasion De Amor

The Samonte-Elizondo triple wedding! Dubbed as primetime’s hottest series then, Pasion De Amor chronicled the love journey of Juan (Jake Cuenca) and Norma (Arci Muñoz), Oscar (Ejay Falcon) and Sari (Ellen Adarna), and Franco (Joseph Marco) and Jamie (Coleen Garcia). The three sisters wore bridal gowns in different styles, with delicate lace details – a balance of sexy and elegant – carrying huge rose bouquets in red to symbolize their passion-filled romances.

Pangako Sa’Yo

Two words come to mind when we think of Amor (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Eduardo (Ian Veneracion)’s wedding – blush and fresh. Amor walked down the aisle, in a set up with pink and white motif, to meet her first and great love. In Eduardo’s wedding vow, he mused on how the past years, although spent apart, shaped them into better people worthy of each other’s love. But the most shocking part of Amor and Eduardo’s D-day was Claudia (Angelica Panganiban) making her grand, shocking comeback.

On The Wings Of Love

Clark (James Reid) and Leah (Nadine Lustre)’s millennial church wedding was full of sappy, artistic symbolism. Every detail represented a piece of their love story – from the ‘wanderlust’ theme to the use of paper bouquet, dove origami in the backdrop (reminiscent of their kismet-ushered first childhood meeting), and Tatang Sol (Joel Torre)’s jeepney. It also rained poetry, with Rico (Juan Miguel Severo) reciting one in the background during the wedding prep scene; and Clark and Leah giving us the sweetest wedding vows. Trivia: James co-wrote his vow!

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

The first wedding scene in long-running TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano was that of Ador (Coco Martin) and Carmen (Bela Padilla). As for someone who served in national service, Ador witnessed his bride walk down the aisle under an arch of swords, and the choice of theme – traditional – was full of taste and beauty. It got more romantic when Ador spoke his vows to Carmen and ended his speech in tears.

Dolce Amore

Tenten (Enrique Gil) and Serena (Liza Soberano) walked toward their happily ever after in a timeless wedding wardrobe. He looked dashing in a customized Barong Tagalog while she was the epitome of unfading beauty in an elegant, laced gown. What made it more memorable was Ian Veneracion’s surprise appearance as the priest, who officiated Serena and Tenten’s wedding.

A Love To Last

Andeng (Bea Alonzo)’s special day had lots of roses in white, pink, and pastel. She looked breathtaking in a gown with lace and crystal details while Anton (Ian Veneracion) looked sharp in a white suit. And as Andeng walked towards ‘forever,’ in a slow version of romantic hit “A Love to Last,” Anton didn't help but tear up and imagine their future together.

Magpahanggang Wakas

The shore has always been a special place for Waldo (Jericho Rosales) and Aryann (Arci Muñoz). It’s where their love story started, which makes it a perfect venue to begin their future as husband and wife. Beach weddings are always ‘aww’-inducing especially when you have a love story like that of Waldo and Aryann that stood trials. The red motif and the sunset were both strong and calming like the couple’s love for each other.

Pusong Ligaw

Tessa (Beauty Gonzalez) and Jaime (Raymond Bagatsing)’s hearts were no longer lost as they found eternal love in each other, sealed in an outdoor wedding full of enchanting details. Witnessed by their loved ones and a parade of soft cotton flowers, Tessa and Jaime looked back on how they helped each other survive life’s challenges without asking for anything in return; and vowed to offer their hearts for each other every single day.

Wildflower

Ivy (Maja Salvador) and Arnaldo (RK Bagatsing)’s iconic black wedding sure deserves a spot in this Kapamilya Time-list. For the first time, someone defied the ordinary by wearing a black wedding dress on her big day. In case you didn’t know, Ivy chose that shade to symbolize her extreme wrath and vengeful desires toward her own husband-to-be and his family. It was stunning and scandalous!

Bagani

Lakas (Enrique Gil) and Ganda (Liza Soberano) gave us visual treats in their ethnic wedding. He was wearing a wool coat with fur accent while she donned a multi-colored tube matched with her long wavy hair. And it wasn’t a typical wedding scene that’s mushy and full of nothing but plain happiness because of the series of shocking events that happened during and after the ceremony like a main character getting killed and Malaya (Kristine Hermosa)’s revenge.

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

It’s the small details in the ceremony and Cardo (Coco Martin) and Alyana (Yassi Pressman)’s love story that came together to make their Filipiniana wedding in a glass dome truly beautiful. It was vintage and fresh, with Alyana walking down the aisle from a grand staircase, in a custom-made beaded and floral-embroidered gown. What made Alyana’s look extra stunning and set her apart from other brides was her delicate lace veil. It was a big event, so grand that main villain Joaquin (Arjo Atayde) crashed the wedding to abduct the bride. Happy days followed, nonetheless
