Cesca (Daniela Stranner) frets as Cassandra (Riva Quenery) drags her to a fortune teller named Madam Adivina, the most reliable one in town according to hearsays. They step inside the building and finds a lady dressed in a plain white shirt engrossed with a mobile game. The woman simply adorns her head with a turban and takes a sit in front of a crystal ball. Cesca and Cassandra are disappointed and they start to question the fortune teller’s credibility.
Yet, Cassandra decides to push through, so not to put her efforts to waste. Madam Adivina reads Cassandra’s palm and tells her that she has already crossed paths with ‘the one’ a month ago. Cassandra is eager to know more but Madam Adivina doesn’t entertain follow-up questions.
On Cesca’s turn to get her palms examined, Madam Adivina takes a pause, as if seeing good omen in the young lady’s destiny. Madam Adivina reveals that Cesca has already met the love of her life and from that day forward, there will be signs leading her to him. According to the madam, there will be flickering lights as the guy stares at Cesca in the eye while giving her his ‘heart’.
Cesca downplays Casandra’s teases, saying she doesn’t believe much in fortune telling. On the other side of the road is a black car making a stop to ask for directions going to Nueva Valencia. Seated at the back is Xian (Jeremiah Lisbo) who rolls the car windows down and glues his eyes on Cesca’s mesmerizing beauty.
