Ted (Ian Veneracion) takes advantage of the growing infestation in the Dimagiba mango farm. He volunteers to help fund the Pusong Dimagiba’s struggling production, saying he is just concerned with his son’s suppliers but the truth is it’s just his first step to acquiring the entire Nueva Valencia for business purposes.
Tony tries to avoid the offer and insists to apply for a money loan at Banco de Valencia which is later on rejected because of Ted’s intrusion. So, running out of options, Tony gives in to Ted’s assistance. He is referred to a lending company owned by Ted’s acquaintance, a sly way of forcing the desperate Dimagiba to put the Nueva Valencia farm as collateral.
Now, the tables turn. Ted seeks help in renting a warehouse owned by Tony’s close friend. He says his team is having a difficult time convincing the owner named Chayong. So, as a favour, Ted requests Tony to rent the space on his behalf but ensures that he would be the one to settle the payment. Trapped in his debt of gratitude towards the devious Villarica, Tony promises to give his best help.
