At the heart of every scene is a script. Aside from being the skeleton of the story that determines the sequence of events, this helps guide the whole production team on how to execute a scene, from the lines to the setting. You would be surprised to see that a script is more than just the dialogue. Although, sometimes the final product that airs on television is not exactly the same. Edits are made. Ad libs are allowed.
In this video, fans have the chance to step behind the cameras and read the script for Make It With You. For this SCREEN TO SCRIPT, we are particularly looking at the moment when Billy (Liza Soberano) and Gabo (Enrique Gil) meet for the first time in Croatia.
It was a case of mistaken identity. Billy thought Gabo was the rich man she was supposed to date. Gabo thought Billy was the owner of the restaurant who was supposed to interview him. As they sat together and ordered food, both were completely unaware of each other’s real identities. Eventually, Billy received a call from her boss to reveal her blunder. She hurriedly left, but not before discovering that he was also a Filipino. In the end, he was left to settle the bill for all the food she ordered.
As hilarious as this was, their first encounter back in the Philippines was the complete opposite. It was almost painful to watch. Check out how that reunion translated from the script to your television screens in another Entertainment.ABS-CBN.com exclusive!
