The Dimagiba family learns about Gabo (Enrique Gil)’s proposal to hire them as Tinapay Corner’s official mango jam supplier. Cassandra (Riva Quenery) suggests giving in to the offer and narrates its benefits including improved livelihood not just to their family but to the whole Nueva Valencia and having enough finances to support Lolo Aga (Eddie Guttierrez)’s medical needs.
While still thinking about the offer, Billy (Liza Soberano) notices his Lolo Aga (Eddie Guttierrez) suffering from his ailment once again. Then, Billy feels sad seeing her family content themselves with a defective television set. Will her family’s struggle finally convince Billy to say ‘yes’ to Gabo’s business proposal?
Meanwhile, Gabo runs to Jessica (Pokwang) to unleash his thoughts. First, he thanks Jessica for trying to soothe Ted (Ian Veneracion)’s bad temper towards him. He then shares his plans to win Billy’s confirmation regarding his offer.
Jessica is unconvinced about the need to still engage the Dimaagibas. So, to make things clearer, Gabo gives her a sample of breadnaissance. Jessica swears that the product is already good but Gabo asserts that it will taste even better when mixed with the Dimagibas’ signature mango essence, hence, his determination to persuade Billy. He believes that Billy’s unconditional love for her family is a weakness that he could take advantage of.
The scene also reveals why Tinapay Corner holds so much importance to Gabo. Apparently, Tinapay Corner was first established by his late mother (Cindy Kurleto) and running the business is Gabo’s way of holding on to his mom’s memories.
