A new day means new trouble to Billy (Liza Soberano) and the Dimagiba family. Officers from the municipal office arrive at their stall to inform them that several customers complain about Panaderia de Tony’s unhygienic operations. There are patrons who allegedly got sick after eating Panaderia de Tony’s products.
Tony (Herbert Bautista) demands to know the identity of the complainant, and insists that the issue is simply an attempt to taint their bakery’s reputation. Billy tells his father to forgo his queries since she already has a suspect in mind. She then glares at Germalyn (Maronne Cruz) who is secretly nosing on the happenings at Panaderia de Tony.
Billy visits Sputnik (Khalil Ramos), a law practitioner, to inquire on the legal steps to consider. According to Sputnik, Billy needs to gather evidences nullifying the allegations against their business. Billy could then file a civil case for the actual, moral and exemplary damages. A settlement would most probably follow.
Billy thanks her friend for the free consultation. Sputnik jokes that his services are no longer for free next time, drawing laughter from the both of them. Billy asks how she could make it up to him. Sputnik says he has always been there for Billy since they were young and he doesn’t ask for anything grand in return, her bread pudding would be more than enough. But he pedals back and says he actually would like to request for a favour. He asks Billy to stop calling him Sputnik since his workmates now call him by his real name, Stephen.
Meanwhile, Gabo (Enrique Gil) goes to Nueva Valencia to check on his business competitor. Gabo smears his handsome face with dirt, wears rugged clothes, and puts on a wig to disguise as a beggar and purchase two bags of Panaderia de Tony’s bestselling pan de tsalap. And as he savors the piece of bread, Gabo confirms the hearsays – Panaderia de Tony’s pan de tsalap and Tinapay Corner’s breadnassaince are made of the same ingredients. Gabo hands the pieces of bread to an elderly man asking for alms.
