Walking around the city, Billy (Liza Soberano) and Gabo (Enrique Gil) take pieces of leftover bread from a restaurant. Instead of letting it go to waste, they decide to turn them into delicious pudding. Billy displays her expertise in baking, being part of a clan of bakers in the Philippines. What seems like a light scene in the kitchen surprisingly turns romantic as Gabo volunteers to help Billy while they also get to talk things about each other. Billy is shocked to find Gabo clueless on classic Pinoy bread varieties like pan de regla or kalihim.
Gabo isn’t totally satisfied with the recipe’s aroma so, he pours a few drops of wine. Billy quips that their friends might end up intoxicated while eating the bread and then continue mixing the ingredients using her bare hands. Gabo joins her in. The two evidently fight the romantic tension between them as their fingers accidentally touched. Their friends take a peek from the window and urge them to finish the food quickly, cutting off the slightly sensual encounter.
Billy and Gabo’s housemates taste the finished product and everyone is impressed including Leppy and Victoria, both Croatian natives.
The positive comments from their friends motivate Billy and Gabo to put up a small bakery business using leftover breads until they make it big in the larger parts of Europe.
Later, Helen (Katya Santos) expresses joy for Billy, saying she’s glad to see her friend learning how to dream again with a guy who could possibly be her perfect match. But there seems to be a problem – Billy’s deal with Antonia.
