The war between Billy (Liza Soberano) and Gabo (Enrique Gil) becomes more enflamed when Panderia de Tony is engulfed in fire. Billy recalls Gabo’s warning that their company would do whatever it takes to win the battle. Moreover, she gets a phone call from Mr. Acapulco of Acapulco Action sa Radio at TV who exposed the Villaricas’ anomalies, telling her that he received threats after airing the interview. Weaving these clues together, Billy arrives at the conclusion that the fire was orchestrated and that there’s no one else more capable of doing it than the Villaricas.
Billy storms off to Gabo’s office to confront him. Gabo appears innocent from Billy’s allegations but he would later on confirm that Ted (Ian Veneracion) was the one responsible for the arson.
The next day, at Nueva Valencia, Billy consults Stephen (Khalil Ramos) who says that someone was seen lurking around Panaderia de Tony before the fire incident. Stephen adds that they need to find a link between the possible suspect and the Villaricas and they’d be up for a good fight in the court.
Gabo’s car arrives. He comes out and asks Billy for a short talk. Gabo tries to offer Billy a business partnership as compensation. He plans to tie up with the Dimagiba family in using their mango essence as an ingredient to Tinapay Corner’s breadnaissance. Gabo admits that his father is capable of doing something worse if Billy won’t stop fighting back and he’s scared that he might not be able to protect her anymore once the situation worsens.
Still, Billy asserts that she doesn’t need anything from him. The Dimagiba family, along with Stephen, secretly noses out on Billy and Gabo’s conversation. The argument ends with Billy shutting Gabo out and hurrying inside the house.
A thunderstorm begins. As the Dimagiba family takes their dinner, electricity shuts off due to heavy rains. They hear a series of knocks outside. Cassandra (Riva Quenery) opens the door and the Dimagiba family finds Gabo standing outside, drenched in rainwater.
