It’s a big day for the Tinapay Corner employees as they go through the final interview with the accreditation team headed by Mr. Young (Richard Quan). Their fate is under the hands of Billy (Liza Soberano) who is tasked to go solo in representing the entire company. Billy went through intense training with Gabo (Enrique Gil) the previous day as she studies the nitty-gritty of Tinapay Corner operations as preparation for the panel meeting.
Billy arrives looking every inch professional and stunning in her new look, catching Gabo’s attention. The guy, completely captivated, stares at Billy for a few moments and then, wishes her luck. The panel interview rolls. Billy exudes confidence as she delivers impressive answers until Mr. Young throws in a question about the thing that makes Tinapay Corner products stand out in the market. Billy points out the nutritional value of their breads. Then, wishing to speak from the heart, she adds that their products are made out of love and team work, drawing laughter of mockery from Mr. Young. The businessman seems unconvinced by Billy’s sentimental answer. Gabo, watching the event from his own office through a live recording sent by Anna (Shaira Opsimar), is notably dispirited.
Inside Gabo’s office, Billy expresses her regrets while everyone waits for the results. Gabo finally receives a call from Mr. Young. Billy comes out to join the other employees upon sensing a bad news based on Gabo’s reaction and tone.
Billy and her co-workers wait nervously while Gabo is still talking with Mr. Young. A few moments after, Gabo comes out of his office, looking serious and discouraged. But it turns out that the sadness is just an act. Gabo reports that they passed the accreditation for international market. The staff members rejoice while Billy runs to Gabo for an embrace.
