The Tinapay Corner employees misinterpret Gabo (Enrique Gil) and Billy (Liza Soberano)’s closeness, causing the latter to act elusive and uncomfortable. Gabo takes notice of Billy’s uneasiness as he tends to her sprained foot. He finds out the rumours spreading among their officemates. As they catch up with their colleagues in the hiking trail, malicious stares greet them again. There’s Billy looking embarrassed while riding on Gabo’s back.
While the medic nurses Billy’s injury, Gabo takes the moment to set things straight. And in an authoritarian tone, he clarifies that he and Billy are just friends- nothing more and nothing less. The boss tells his staff to stop engaging in gossips especially those that might affect the whole team’s camaraderie. Billy smiles at Gabo, grateful for clearing up her name and bringing her out of the center of intrigues.
Gabo’s anger somehow affects the employees’ mood. But all thanks to the lively tour guide, everyone is prompted to prepare their shelters for the night. Billy finds it awkward to sleep beside her buddy, Gabo, inside the tent. So, she opts to just stay outside, convincing herself that it’s fun to take a rest under the starry view of the night skies. Billy survives the threats of mosquito bites by spraying repellent. But she unfortunately fails to surpass the next challenge – a light rainfall.
Soaked with rainwater, Billy decides to go inside the tent to fix herself. Gabo offers his extra shirt and holds a towel to cover Billy while she’s changing her top. Gabo looks away but his facial reaction shows obvious desire.
