Dressed in a sultry outfit, Billy (Liza Soberano) walks along the lines of restaurants in Dubrovnik looking for her date, a rich man who his boss describes as wearing a summery polo top. She finds him, based on that description, in an instant. But unknown to her, the guy she approaches is Gabo (Enrique Gil), a homeless Filipino who is there to apply as a restaurant server.
Billy orders a lot of food, as part of her usual trick. But in the middle of what seems like a good start, Billy receives a call from her boss telling her that her actual date is waiting. Realizing her mistake, Billy runs away without a word, leaving Gabo responsible for the bill.
The next day, Gabo continues to collect and sell plastic bottles to earn a living. He competes with another homeless man who is evidently a more experienced garbage collector than him. While walking around the plaza in search of something to eat, Gabo catches a sight of Billy.
Meanwhile, Billy catches up with Nikola, the guy she’s supposed to meet yesterday. Billy displays expertise in winning a man’s attention. She acts flirty and intentionally slides the strap of her dress down her shoulders, and fixes it in a completely fun yet seductive manner.
Billy is about to start her tactic by ordering a lot of food again when Gabo enters the scene and sells her out to Nikola. Gabo warns the native guy to stop falling prey to the beautiful girl’s strategies. Ashamed and defeated, Billy walks out.
Gabo runs after Billy and learns that she is a Filipina. He continues to mock her. Gabo even says that people like Billy taint the Filipinos’ reputation. He calls him a swindler and a liar.
Hurt and pushed to her limits, Billy bluntly asks Gabo to stop judging her and then walks away.
