The recent closure between Billy (Liza Soberano) and Gabo (Enrique Gil) paves the way to a better friendship and lighter working atmosphere. Billy doesn’t even mind Gabo’s tardiness. The two are on a ceasefire from their usual arguments. In fact, Gabo finally approves Billy’s previously rejected proposal on introducing classic Pinoy bread recipes to the local and international markets. However, Gabo still fails to completely let go of his strictness as he scolds Anna (Shaira Opsimar) for entering his house with Tony (Herbert Bautista) and Sputnik (Khalil Ramos) without prior notice the other day. Anna bows down her head in embarrassment.
While taking a tour at the production area, Billy learns how the employees perceive Gabo as a monster boss, unlike her who instantly got along with her staff members. Billy goes solo in presenting the sample bread products to Gabo since no one dares to interact with him. Her phone beeps non-stop in the middle of the meeting due to a series of notifications from the employees’ secret online group which Gabo is unaware of. Concerned and honest, Billy describes how the workers loathe Gabo’s leadership that a lot of them are planning to leave the company. So, as a piece of advice, Billy urges Gabo to act more amicable towards his employees. She says he could start by joining the group chat or greeting Val on his birthday tomorrow.
Heeding to Billy’s idea, Gabo schedules an employees’ party the next day. He arrives at the venue and finds it a bit quiet. To his dismay, only the senior staff and Board Members attended his event. Even Billy is out to have fun at Val’s birthday party.
