Just as when Tinapay Corner is only a single step away from being granted accreditation for international competency, a scuffle between Ted (Ian Veneracion) and Mr. Young (Richard Quan), head of the accreditation team, spoils the company’s success. Gabo (Enrique Gil) arrives in the office looking unprepared and problematic. A series of important calls interrupts his meeting with Billy (Liza Soberano). The latter assumes that Gabo is deeply affected with his breakup with Rio (Katarina Rodriguez) and that he keeps on reaching out to her to iron out their misunderstanding.
Yet, the truth is Gabo is just trying to request for a private conversation with Mr. Young in order to still save Tinapay Corner’s fate. But first, he talks with Ted over the phone to unleash his frustrations and disappointment. Gabo couldn’t believe how his own father intentionally ruined Tinapay Corner’s reputation by engaging in a fight against the businessman who would determine the company’s future. A defiant Ted claims that it wasn’t him who initiated the brawl. But for some reasons, Gabo struggles to believe his Dad’s excuses.
Meanwhile, Billy tries to brighten up Gabo’s mood for the sake of their friendship, Tinapay Corner’s success, and the promised bonus pay. Wearing her natural sunny disposition, Billy offers Gabo a cup of ice cream, which he refuses. As Gabo comes inside the conference room after taking another call concerning Mr. Young, Billy invites him to watch a hilarious video of cute puppies. However, none of her antics seem to be effective.
