Billy (Liza Soberano) continues to compete with Tinapay Corner. One of her customers notes that her specialty, pan de tsalap, tastes just the same as the rival’s breadnaissance. Billy tests the other product and confirms that it indeed tastes the same as her bread pudding. Her family is quick to conclude that someone stole her recipe. Billy asserts that her ‘pan de tsalap’ contains a secret ingredient that others know nothing about.
Tinapay Corner branch manager Germalyn (Maronne Cruz) also gets to taste Billy’s bestseller and immediately informs Gabo (Enrique Gil) about the similarities of breadnaissance and pan de tsalap. Knowing that only he and Billy know the recipe to making such product, Gabo starts looking for Billy on social media to confirm her whereabouts. She finds Yuta (Fumiya Sankai) instead. Yuta lies to Gabo, saying Billy is in Paris.
Meanwhile, Cassandra (Riva Quenery) shares a video conference with a foreigner. Her cunning persona is displayed when she requests for money to fund her dream bakery business. Cassandra pretends that she’s the brains behind pan de tsalap. But things turn for the bad when the foreigner spreads Casandra’s video until it becomes viral. Everyone now dubs Cassandra as the ‘pudding girl’.
The online fiasco aggravates Gabo’s struggle to win the Board Members’ trust. He tries to explain that ‘pudding girl’ won’t in any way affect Tinapay Corner’s performance but even his own father refuses to listen.
Billy confronts Cassandra for her recklessness and for dragging their family business into a bad light. She scolds her cousin for using her charm as bait to get things her way. The argument turns more intense when Casandra pivots the blame and accusations back at Billy. Not that she’s trying to act innocent but Cassandra says Billy is just as deceitful as her, rubbing in Billy’s work as a con artist in Croatia. Cassandra almost threatens Billy of telling their grandparents the truth, so as to reveal that everyone’s favorite girl is hiding a devious side.
Tears roll down Billy’s eyes, while her face is coated with anger and pain. As softly as she could, Billy claims that she only did such things to be able to provide for their family. She never intended to swindle other people but the situation forced her to do so. Cassandra borrows Billy’s argument to justify her actions as well.
