Tinapay Corner staff members arrive at Gabo (Enrique Gil)’s rest house to report for a weekend duty. While given a grace period, Billy (Liza Soberano) lands to Gabo’s bedroom as she tries to find her way to the toilet. She gazes at the displayed photos first and finds images of a young Gabo and his mother. Billy goes inside the bathroom. Her eyes widen upon hearing Gabo’s distant voice. Thinking that he’s already out, Billy quietly sneaks out of the toilet only to find Gabo changing his clothes. She froze at the sight of his body. Billy keeps her eyes glued to a long incision scar on Gabo’s abdomen. He caught her watching. She explains how she ended up in his bedroom. She tries to bring up the topic on his mother but he acts elusive.
That night after work, Gabo joins Billy as she takes a dip in the pool. An employee comes out of the house and puts malice on the chemistry between the two. She would later on tell her friends about Billy and Gabo’s alleged secret affair. Billy tries to engage Gabo in a small talk in order to dig deeper about his background. Answering Billy’s queries, Gabo says that her mother is the most special person for him. He then starts to relieve his fondest memories with her especially their Sunday baking sessions. His face shows hints of longing and regrets when asked if one of them has ever been absent on their Sunday dates.
