Dressed in a sultry outfit, Billy (Liza Soberano) walks along the lines of restaurants in Dubrovnik looking for her date, a rich man who his boss describes as wearing a summery polo top. She finds him, based on that description, in an instant. But unknown to her, the guy she approaches is Gabo (Enrique Gil), a homeless Filipino who is simply there to apply as a restaurant server.
While Billy mistakes Gabo for her real match, the clueless guy also assumes that she is the restaurant manager set to evaluate his qualifications. Nevertheless, the faux date continues. And as usual, Billy intentionally seduces the guy in front of him by acting wild and game. She misinterprets Gabo’s enthusiasm to impress her.
Billy orders a lot of food, as part of her usual trick. But in the middle of what seems like a good start, Billy receives a call from her boss telling her that her actual date is waiting. Realizing her mistake, Billy runs away without a word, leaving Gabo responsible for the bill.
The restaurant manager soon arrives. Unfortunately, Gabo does not only lose a possible job opportunity but he also ends up washing the dishes to compensate the unpaid food orders.
Billy fails to catch her date. She goes home looking tired and defeated. The owner of the house she’s renting, Victoria, warns her about the risks of going on dates for money. Victoria and her husband, Leppy, remind Billy of what happened when she went out with a guy named Ivan, hinting that Billy encountered trouble in the past. Billy assures them that it won’t happen again while Helen (Katya Santos) backs her up.
Later, Billy and Helen talk about their days. Helen can’t help but dwell on the surprising coincidence that Billy met a ‘kababayan’ within the small Filipino community in Croatia. Helen pokes fun at Billy’s swindling side jobs while Billy quips at Helen’s age.
Meanwhile, Gabo spends the night at the plaza thinking about the ‘evil’ woman who trapped him in a tricky situation a while ago.
