Just as when Gabo (Enrique Gil) is starting to act like the perfect boyfriend again, Rio (Katarina Rodriguez) finds herself trapped in the consequences of a one-night stand with Bret (Mark McMahon). The guy says that she needs to go to his place one last time if she would really want to cut their connections. A confused Rio obeys Bret’s request but rather than kicking him completely out of her life, she falls to his seduction instead. Rio fails to fight the emotions and shares a passionate kiss with her lover. Unbeknownst to her, Billy (Liza Soberano), who is planning to rent a unit in the same building, is watching their secret rendezvous.
Billy is acting strange while inspecting the apartment with Helen (Katya Santos) until she finally spills the tea due to her friend’s insistence. Helen firmly suggests telling Gabo the truth. A lot of questions about Rio and Gabo’s true relationship status are raised. But Billy no longer wants to dwell on the issue. She decides to keep mum about what she saw to avoid getting caught in the middle of the couple’s relationship.
At the Tinapay Corner office, Billy acts extra careful in dealing with Gabo, scared to trigger his temper. As a response to her concern, he assures that he is well and calm. At the back of Billy’s mind plays Helen’s advice to be honest with Gabo with the risk of igniting his fury. Not wanting to make Gabo mad, Billy goes for silence and peace over frankness and chaos.
Meanwhile, guilt, confusion, and frustration are on top of the sea of emotions drowning Rio. She blames no one else but Billy for her dilemma, thinking that if not for her rival, she wouldn’t end up falling into a deep pit of trouble.
