After having been ‘ghosted’ by Gabo (Enrique Gil) in Croatia, Billy (Liza Soberano) comes home to the Philippines. Billy drops by a construction site to fetch his Tatay Tony (Herbert Bautista) and Uncle (Hero Bautista). Trying to conceal her true reasons, Billy says she just wanted to have a quick vacation. Besides, she also wished to visit home before starting her studies in Paris where she managed to get a scholarship.
Billy gazes around Nueva Valencia, a small village surrounded by mango trees and simple abodes. Billy, alongside her father and uncle, chances upon an elderly man whose family is bound to transfer to the other barrio. The man greets Billy with delight, hinting that the residents of Nueva Valencia have a good camaraderie. Billy becomes more upset upon learning that most of their townsmen have already left.
They arrive home. Billy can’t help but feel sad seeing their old bakery permanently closed. She vows to bring their family business back to life.
Rambo (Anthony Jennings), Billy’s cousin, hurries to deliver a bad news about Lolo Aga (Eddie Gutierrez). They all storm inside the house and find Lolo Aga looking unconscious on the couch. Billy panics and tries to wake up her grandfather. And when he does, Lolo Aga and their family and friends greet Billy with a surprise. A series of jokes set the household in laughter.
Afterwards, everyone becomes impatient as Lola Iling (Vangie Labalan) leads the prayer before meal. Lolo comes to the rescue, cuts his wife’s long litany and starts the bountiful lunch at home.
