On a special business event for Tinapay Corner, a tipsy Rio (Katarina Rodriguez) arrives to confront Billy (Liza Soberano). The latter acts elusive at first, not wanting to get herself into trouble or intrude in other people’s dilemma. But Rio insists. So, the fierce confrontation inside an empty hall begins.
Rio rubs in the allegations that her nemesis has nothing else to do but act as a third party to her relationship with Gabo (Enrique Gil). Billy blocks Rio’s hand to stop a supposed humiliating slap. The feisty Dimagiba sets things straight, saying she isn’t the one at fault but it is Rio herself who pushes Gabo away. Billy finally spills catching in a secret rendezvous with another guy. Yet, she clarifies that she never told Gabo about it, enough to prove Rio’s accusations wrong. Rio instructs Billy to just keep mum and let her be the one to tell Gabo the truth.
Then, Rio dashes out of the building and is surprised to find Bret (Mark McMahon) tailing her behind, a scene that Gabo accidentally catches with his own two eyes. Billy receives a message from Gabo who is apologetic for leaving the venue unannounced.
It turns out that Gabo sacrificed the important business convention to come and check on Rio at her own behest. He arrives to a sobbing Rio who’s begging him to marry her.
At Nueva Valencia, a conversation transpires between Billy and Helen over the phone. While Helen has become extremely irate because of the confrontation a while ago, Billy remains calm as she has other priorities that night – to review for Tinapay Corner’s meeting with the accreditation team the next day. However, Gabo, the boss himself, is evidently distracted during the event and he fails to keep up with Billy’s impressive preparedness. Later, Billy would learn through Anna (Shaira Opsimar) that Gabo might just be distracted with the jitters brought by his plans to propose to Rio on that same day.
