In a world full of strangers, Gabo (Enrique Gil) found his angel in the person of Billy (Liza Soberano). He eventually felt accepted and loved until an inevitable event forced him to end things with her and depart unannounced. Fate played tricks on them when they crossed paths as stiff baking rivals. Despite the vehement efforts to take their minds off their romantic past, Gabo and Billy just couldn’t help but fall in love with each other all over again, as shown in these scenes from Make It With You.
When all her strategies failed, Billy was forced to consider Gabo’s offer to sign up for a business partnership with his company, Tinapay Corner. It was expectedly awkward given their past romantic involvement. Nevertheless, they try hard to act professional and casual for business’ sake. They had to seal their friendship and draw a line between office duties and personal issues.
When they worked hand in hand for Tinapay Corner’s international licensing, though, Gabo and Billy’s closeness blossomed again to the point of igniting office rumors. There was a scene where Billy accidentally slept on Gabo’s shoulder on a trip going to his rest house, witnessed by the other employees.
And when Billy was swamped with works beyond office hours, Gabo surprised her with a tub of ice cream to help her relax. Things got a bit sensual when he wiped the stains on her lips and they got too close to kissing, but then again, they opted to pretend unaffected.
The more they hold back, the more their feelings swim to the surface. We bet you screamed out your kilig when Billy rushed to Gabo for an embrace after they successfully got an international accreditation. That event opened up a stream of overwhelming GaBi moments, from a sweet motorcycle ride going to a client meeting to gatecrashing a wedding reception.
The hide-and seek continued in the Tinapay Corner team building activity where they ended up as buddies all throughout. Billy had to calculate her actions, aware that her closeness with Gabo was becoming a hot topic among the employees. A series of bad luck, however, made a way to still move her closer to Gabo. She strained her foot, pushing him to carry her in the middle of the trek and, that night, the heavy rains forced Billy to sleep beside Gabo inside the tent.
With everything that has happened between them, should Gabo and Billy continue to fight their feelings or is it time to be completely honest?
