LizQuen is finally back on our television screens and they wasted no time in making us feel all sorts of kilig again. We last saw them on the 2018 fantaserye Bagani. Now, as Billy and Gabo on Make It With You, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil are taking us on a whole new journey which starts off in Dubrovnik, Croatia. It is a beautiful city, but who can focus on the scenery when LizQuen is busy stealing our hearts?
Their first encounter was not the most romantic. Billy mistook him for her date. Gabo mistook her for the restaurant manager that was supposed to interview him. When she realized the misunderstanding, she ran away to find her real date. Meanwhile, he was left to wash the dishes as payment for all the food she ordered.
Luckily, their paths crossed a second time. To make it up to him, Billy offered Gabo a place to stay. Although, she planned to set him up on a date with a woman named Antonia, their time spent together plants a seed of friendship. They learned a Croatian folk dance and spent a day at the beach. “He’s handsome. He’s very athletic. He has a beautiful body and a beautiful smile,” Billy described him to Antonia.
One scene that showed just how much the two have grown closer is when they baked bread pudding. Baking is obviously a passion for Billy. When Gabo offered to help, the fun activity took a romantic turn as their fingers touched, accidentally and then more purposefully. Later, after hearing how much their housemates loved the bread pudding, the two fantasized about opening a bakery together.
Eventually, their friendship fully bloomed when he volunteered to go on the date with Antonia. Billy actually wanted to back out, but Gabo wanted to help her. He finally understood why she made the decisions that she did. This sincere conversation led to their first kiss and an intimate night together.
What is your favorite LizQuen scene so far? As kilig filled as these moments are, it is only the beginning of Make It With You! Make sure to follow Billy and Gabo’s story, weekdays after FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
