They exude vibrant fun in front of the cameras as Billy and Gabo on the rom-com series Make it With You. Behind the scenes, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, along with the whole cast are no different. They’re still the same quirky gang as they goof around and bond in between takes.
The Instagram account of Marnie Lapus aka Esmie holds much evidence of the beautiful friendship they found on the set. Her lengthy captions are stuffed with cheesy messages and appreciation for her co-stars. For instance, on a photo of her embracing the series’ leading man, Marnie reminisced on her first encounter with LizQuen on the set of the 2013 film “She’s the One”. She didn’t have the chance to share the screen with them but Marnie knew the pair would make it big in time. And in what seemed like prophesy, her vision has turned into reality. On a photo with the gorgeous leading lady, Marnie shared how Liza lives up to her name – Hope – as she sprinkles positive vibes and happiness on the set.
Of course, the Nueva Valencia crew is fond of taking lots of photos as well. Marnie feels grateful to be able to work with her mentor, seasoned actress Vangie Labalan. Veteran actor Eddie Guttierez is in-charge of wisdom as he often shares stories about his life experiences. “Super gulo and saya sa set,” she said about a photo with the Bautista brothers Herbert and Hero and Direk Richard Arellano.
The cast never runs out of chika times while waiting for their cue just like when they shot Tinapay Corner’s team building activity on top of the mountains. Plus, Liza and Enrique’s smiles bring more sunshine! When not acting out their characters, the tandem is always seen displaying their charming grins.
Katya Santos, playing as Helen, also immortalizes the happy times through photographs. The Make it With You beshies and Team Croatia sneak in loads of selfie moments while waiting for the cameras to roll.
