In their May 24 guesting on Magandang Buhay, Pinoy Big Brother Otso’s ex teen housemates Narcy Esguerra, Shami Baltazar and Kyzha Villalino talked about their lives, and recounted on the days when they started to be responsible. Kyzha said that back then, she would focus on her school work, and revealed that she would look after her siblings and her sick grandmother. Shami, like Kyzha, focused primarily on her studies and would go straight home to be with her family. While Narcy started to be responsible at the tender age of 8, and would join singing contests and would perform at gigs.
Kyzha also elaborated that her parents were very strict with her when she was a child, and said that she would seldom go out and only stayed indoors. “So bale po, nasa bahay lang po talaga ako palagi. School tapos bahay,” she pointed out.
Shami disclosed that she doesn’t long for her estranged father, and doesn’t feel the need to look for him. She underlined that when she was younger, she grew up with her stepfather, and said that she was focused on her happy childhood. “Hindi ko po hinahanap ‘yung father ko since I was bata. Puro lang ako laro noon. So wala akong mundo kung may father ba ako,” she answered teary-eyed. Momshie Karla stated that it is probably because of her stepfather’s presence that Shami never really felt the need to reach out and search for her biological father.
On a lighter note, the lovely ladies discussed their experience inside the PBB house, and recalled that they had nothing but fond memories of their experience together. They mentioned that this season was very enjoyable and light; and that there was hardly any conflict between them. The girls said that they are proud that they have established such a close bond and added that they even promise to keep in touch with each other no matter what happens. “Pinag-usapan namin ‘yun sa loob ng bahay na kahit nasa labas po kami, ganun po rin ang bonding namin,” Kyzha revealed smiling.
