If you didn’t know who these two beautiful ladies were, you might mistake them for sisters or best friends. But they’re actually mother and daughter Jayda and Jessa Zaragoza.
The two never fail to show to their love for each other on Instagram like when they celebrated Mother’s Day with a performance on ASAP. Not mention that time she was a guest artist at her mom’s world tour. She also congratulated her parents for 16 years of happy marriage and for celebrating at a concert. Of course, there are also those just because photos with captions like “my love with this woman is undying #iloveyoumom” and “with my best friend”.
More than these posts, however, they’re also each other’s pillar of support. “Are you really 15?” the King of Talk just had to ask on Tonight with Boy Abunda because of how mature Jayda acted.
Only two months ago, the music veteran revealed through an open letter that she had a miscarriage. It was a depressing time for their family, but Jayda was there to reassure her. “It was a tough time for my family and I, but we managed to get through it by God’s grace,” said the up-and-coming artist. They found comfort in Him and it was this strong faith that helped them get through it.
Jayda shared that her mother blamed herself for this tragedy. But this daughter is always quick to reassure, “it’s not her fault and she had nothing to do with it”. She believes that everything happens for a reason. Acting beyond her age, Jessa feels more than proud and blessed for how Jayda acted.
