Karla Estrada shares important money-saving tip, piggy bank collections

When interviewed about her parenting style, Karla Estrada loves to talk about teaching her kids how to save for the future. She wants them prepared as early as now so they can enjoy the coming years without worries.

In a vlog guesting, the Magandang Buhay host shared that she used to handle her son Daniel Padilla’s earnings and she makes sure that he is financially secure. He can even stop working at 35 if he wishes to. When it comes to taking care of one’s money, Karla cites saving in coin banks as an example.

Showing us her three piggy coin banks in different sizes and uber-cute colors for this episode of Kapamilya Chat, Karla stressed that even loose change has a value, reminiscent of age-old Pinoy aphorism “Hindi mabubuo ang isang milyon kung walang piso.”

She said she loves to save in coin banks since she was a kid, “Kahit anong alkansya ‘yan basta gusto ko lagi ‘yung mga barya hindi naiiwan, nawawala o nasasayang.” The coin banks are getting heavy now, just a proof of Karla’s frugal living despite the showbiz status.
