Elisse sa kanyang mga pinagdaanan: “Kailangan maging strong ka in your own.”

No one is immune from the stumbling blocks of life, it is ubiquitous reality that we all have to face and put up with. Another reality is, that  when it comes to the matters of the heart, it takes a significant amount of strength to sally forth and heal. However, Elisse Josson, Chienna Filomeno and Kisses Delavin proved that when faced with these trials, one can still overcome such agonizing ordeals and move on. The three Kapamiya stars shared their own experiences with Magandang Buhay hosts Melai Cantiveros, Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal, on how they coped with tough times and even heartbreak.

Despite being the talented, and not to mention beautiful actress that she is, Elisse too has had her fair share of going through troubling times. She recalled that there were instances when she and mother would have issues, and it came to the point that they wouldn’t speak to each other; which made the situation difficult because they both lived under the same roof. “May time din na umuuwi kami sa isang bahay at hindi kami nag-uusap, which is para sa akin, mas masakit po ‘yun. Kasi kaming dalawa lang sa bahay,” she stressed.

Elisse also narrated another trying moment in her life, when she dealt with a heartbreak. During this time, she would tell herself, “Elisse magdahan-dahan ka. There’s more to life than ‘yung bugso ng damdamin. Dahan-dahan kasi marami ka pang oras para ma-inl ove. Sa paraan ng pag dahan-dahan mo, mas dun makakabuo ng mas malalim na pagmamahalan,” she said smiling.

On another note, Elisse shared that she has now carried on with a new business venture, and opened a new restaurant/bar in Mandaluyong. She disclosed that she wanted to utilize the space that they own, which she originally wanted to use for her fashion business, but decided not to due to the lack of time to prioritize it. Elisse emphasized that she is also keen on finishing her studies in the future, and take up medicine.
